6 mo Doc appt

She had her 6 mo appt today. She is 25.75in tall and weighs 14 lb 1.5 oz. The doc said she is about 9 mo developmentally and that we need to feed her meat and other high protein foods to keep up with her active lifestyle. I am feeling real proud of my daughter and how well she is doing. :)

Sock makes the difference

My Daughter the adorable nerd. She decided she needed to put her sock in her mouth before she tried to stand again. This is so unbelievably priceless. I was cracking up. She went back down on her hands and knees for a break, saw her sock, stuck it in her mouth, than got right back up. :)

Tooth

Hopefully we will get a pic of her first tooth pretty soon but when we tried she kept protecting it with her tongue. Her first tooth, yikes!

3 meals a day

Raelyn is going to 3 meals a day with real food while still drinking her normal amount of milk. Yikes! She is just getting so big and active we can't keep up.

Climber

She climbed completely into my lap today with no help from me. It was so cute. I love my precious daughter.

A tooth as broken the surface (we think)!

We have been feeling around on her bottom gum for a while because it felt like something was coming up. Today, Kev found that the tooth seems to have broken through. This being our first child we aren't 100% but we think it's true. We have a doc appt next Monday for her 6th month check-up and will find out for sure. The great news is if it's true she is still sleeping really well. We might get to add this also to our "The luckiest parents because we have the best baby ever" list.

Climbing Raelyn

Today Raelyn climbed up my lap. She even pulled herself to her feet for a shaky moment. It was so cute to have her crawl to me and then try and climb into my lap. I really hope we get the house so she will have a bigger space to crawl around on.

Doing Better

Raelyn is doing a lot better. She got active again during the Duck game. She was talking and cheering at the screen for a long time and then crawled around for awhile. She is still not eating her normal amount yet but everything else seems to be good. Thanks God!

On the Mend

Raelyn seems to be getting better slowly. We will see if she throws up again today but she has slept about 28 hours of the last 36 hours. That seems to have helped. Her cries are getting a bit louder again, which I never thought I would be excited about. :) But her little whimpers yesterday were just heartbreaking. She is still not moving around much, mostly just wants to be cuddled. Which is not normally a bad thing but for her very abnormal. She is usually extremely active. Hopefully she continues to get better today.

Sick Baby

Poor Raelyn is pretty sick right now. Not sure what happened. She has no fever but her temp is a bit lower than normal. She is throwing up after every time she eats and it's not spit up. She throws up so much we can see and smell the bile. She is sleeping a lot which is good and is not overly fussy. We can tell that she is a bit weak though. She is moving slowly (when she moves at all) and mostly prefers to just sit in someone's lap and be held. I wish there was more we can do. :(

Quick Crawl

Here is a short crawl from Raelyn. Not so graceful yet but she sure is cute.

Cute-Fussy Raelyn

She started this new thing today. She gets fussy then looks at me with her arms out until I pick her up. It was really cute at first and made my heart warm then she kept doing it and it was mildly annoying (still kind of cute though). She even did it a few times when Kev was holding her. I guess we will have to wait and see if this is good or what...

Green beans!

Raelyn ate green beans for the first time today and she loved them. She stared at the spoon and opened her mouth waiting as soon as she swallowed the bite before. I had to get her seconds. She is so cute.
