Apples and Grapes

We tried some more new foods. Raelyn loved the grapes. She munched away on those with enthusiasm. The apples were not so successful. She is not quite ready for those yet. She munched on the same little piece for a few mins and choked on it for a second a few times. Eventually I had to take it back out of her mouth. She didn't like that because I think she liked the flavor even if she couldn't actually eat it. When I was able to get the little piece back out it was pretty much the same size as when it went it. That was very unusual because she is a very determined muncher. Raelyn does like applesauce though.

Raelyn says Mum!

Raelyn is getting her m's down. She says mum which is basically mom and she says it a lot. She has said it to me a few times but also to many other things. She is getting better though. Now Kev misses her saying da da all the time.

Green Beans

Today Raelyn ate some of the homemade green beans from Debi B. She loved them! I think part of it was because she actually got to chew them a little bit. It seems like she is already tired of the pureed stuff and wants to be able to munch. Which is a bummer because the pureed stuff is so much easier to make. Oh well. Thanks for the baby food Debi. Every time Raelyn finished her bite of green bean she demanded more. :)

House Inspection

Our house inspection went great. We have some minor things we need to fix but otherwise everything looks really good. We are well on our way to owning our first home! Our hope is to close in about 3 to 4 weeks and then we need to clean, paint, fix a few things, then MOVE IN! So excited!

First injury

Raelyn got her first real bruise yesterday. She whacked her head on the bottom of the coffee table. Then got a nice little dent there before it swelled up a bit with a nice bruise. She handled it well. She cried for only a little bit which was surprising considering the way it looked. She is such a trooper.

House

House update:
We are in the process of getting the paperwork for the accepted offer from the bank. Then we can start on the inspections. The main inspection we are hoping to have on Monday morning. If everything goes well we should own a home in around 30 days. YEAH!!! We are excited to have more room for ourselves but especially for Raelyn since she is getting so big and moving around so much.
